Description
Caprover is an automated scalable PaaS (Platform as a Service). It allows you to host multiple application containers and scale them up/down. It it is a great alternative for Heroku, but the difference is that is self hosted and open sourced.
I have been using Caprover since its release on 2017 and it has helped me improve hosting and managing my applications. That made me build and interest on helping improving and maintaining it.
Contribution
On 2018 I decided to contact the author of Caprover and after a talk we decided I was going to help on a big refactor of the CLI that the system uses to setup a caprover instance and deploy applications.
Caprover is still growing and currently has more than 4000 Github ⭐️ and it has being downloaded more than 10 million times.
